Tutu cute!

Is this amazing and life changing? No. But I am excited about it... I made a tutu! We need one for our dance performance coming up later this month so I made one! The colors are sherbet and aqua - the hippest spring colors of 2013! :)

I tied slip knots around a piece of elastic

Ta-da!

I am so proud of it!

Can't wait to wear it in a few weeks! :)

Celebrating Granny

Allen's wonderful grandmother turned 95 years old at the end of March. The Vanderford family had a fabulous celebration for her. Get ready for the pictures...

Lots of balloons!

And they all got tangled on the ride to Granny's place. Luckily, we had some smart women to handle the situation

Aunt Carol with Maggie and Kendall. All three ladies were excellent decorators.

Crystal - the cupcake queen!

Kendall and Maggie - such sweet girls!

Aaron's height came in handy...

... see?

Happy Birthday, Granny!

Family in the sitting room.

And again.

Maggie was letting me know where I should put the cupcake.

We even had outside decorations

Jeffery's height also came in handy.

Party at the Pratt's.

We visited with family and friends...

...

And ate delicious food! Uncle Vandy put on a fish fry for us to enjoy.

Yum!

Fried flounder, fresh green salad, sandwich (either pimento cheese or chicken salad, and cole slaw)

Of course basketball was on TV

What a great weekend of memories, laughter, and love!

Days later, Granny passed away. I am so thankful that her family was able to enjoy one last visit. This past weekend we said our goodbyes to Granny Louise. She was a beautiful, caring, and loving woman. She will be missed.
